I just watched The Bionic Woman pilot. And let me tell you… it is awesome.
Awesome! It’s like La Femme Nikita, Heroes, XMen, Battlestar Galactica and, well… The Bionic Woman all rolled into one.
I never said it was original, but did I mention it was awesome?
In addition to Bionic Jamie, there’s an EVIL Bionic Woman running around! Played by Starbuck from Galactica!
Awesome.
I am truly shocked.
Also shocking – Californication sucked.
Dexter is officially the only reason I pay for Showtime.
Why did Californication suck?
It was a mess. It may end up being a good series, but the pilot has a lot of problems. Tone issues, bad editorial choices. It essentially consists of 3 scenes played over and over again: Duchovny (who is good) has sex – Duchovny sees his daughter & ex-wife – Duchovny can’t write.
